BEIJING, March 28 (Xinhua) -- The 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair is set for May 16-20 in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, according to organizers of the event Thursday.
It will attract the participation of an estimated 2,312 government entities, enterprises and organizations from 31 provincial-level regions plus Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan at home as well as 50 foreign countries and regions.
The main venue, Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, consists of nine pavilions and boasts a total exhibition area of 105,000 square meters. There are more than 60 other venues in various districts of Shenzhen.
The event will focus on showcasing China's achievements in cultural development, progress in advancing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cultural integration and innovation, cultural and tourism integration and integrated media development, and innovations and creative designs, organizers say.
The past 14 editions of the fair saw a total transaction volume of more than 1.7 trillion yuan (252 billion U.S. dollars).
