ANKARA, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Turkish police arrested 62 Iraqi nationals suspected of having links to the Islamic State (IS), state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Friday.
Police arrested 52 suspects during anti-terror operations in capital Ankara, the report said, citing an anonymous police officer.
Meanwhile, a total of 10 suspects were arrested in the country's northern Samsun Province on the Black Sea coast.
All suspects are Iraqi nationals, the report added.
Turkey has suffered several bloody attacks blamed on IS militants since 2015. Turkish police have intensified operation against IS cells across the country.
