TUNIS, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Tunisia is working hard to reinforce its cyber defense capabilities, through the establishment of a national strategy to combat cybercrime, said Kamel Akrout, a senior advisor for national security, on Monday.
"No country in the world is safe from cyber threats and that's why Tunisian authorities are developing competencies in this area," said Akrout, at a workshop on Tunisia National Cyber Defense Strategy.
Akrout said 82 percent of all crimes in the world are cyber crimes and 12 percent of these crimes are related to the espionage of government and financial data.
Facing such situation, Tunisia will take necessary measures to protect its cyberspace, Akrout added.
